I stayed at the Hyatt Zilara for five nights on what was meant to be a relaxing getaway, and it delivered exactly that. The adults-only policy means no screaming children at the pool, which was worth the slight premium over family-friendly alternatives. The beach is genuinely one of the widest stretches in the Hotel Zone, and the included food and drinks were better than expected – the tequila lounge in particular became a nightly ritual. The only downside is how easy it is to never leave the property, which some would consider a feature rather than a bug.
