  • Vallée de Mai Nature Reserve: Home to the famous coco de mer palm tree which has the – the largest plant seed in the world. It’s believed that this palm tree once grew beneath the waters of the Indian Ocean.
  • Scuba diving and snorkeling: Grab your snorkel, fins and scuba gear and head to the many great diving spots around Praslin. There are up to 13 dive spots for you to explore. White tip sharks, octopus, eagle rays and turtles are among the animals you’ll see on your diving excursion. Depths vary from 8-20 meters, so divers of all levels can enjoy the underwater wonders. Even better, the ocean is warm so you’ll want to spend hours in the ocean.
  • Curieuse Island: Perfect island to take a day trip. You’ll get to see Aldabra tortoises, Takamaka trees, and the Coco de Mer and mangrove forests.
